Where to get your Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+

The Samsung Galaxy S8 has been leaking all over the internet in the last few weeks but, finally, we now know all about it.

There’s two handsets – the £689 S8 with a 5.8″ screen and the £779 S8+ with a 6.2″ display. Both of them have the curved “Infinity” screen with that clever hidden home button, 64GB storage, 12 megapixel rear cameras and 8 megapixel front shooters.

So where to buy? Well, first out the gates was Three. They’ve emailed to let us know that both handsets are on pre-order and they will offer the midnight black and the orchid grey colours. If you pre-order either device with them, you will receive it a full 8 days prior to its official launch.

Both are available on various 24 month contracts but here are a few:

Samsung S8: 12GB, AYCE minutes/texts – £99 upfront and £45/month
Samsung S8: 2GB, AYCE minutes/texts – £99 upfront and £40/month (Essential plan)
Samsung S8: 500Mb, 300 minutes, AYCE texts – £99 upfront £35/month (Essential plan) – lowest contract available

Samsung S8+ : 30GB, AYCE minutes/texts – £99 upfront and £55/month

Head to the Three website for more details.

Next up, Vodafone. They’re also offering pre-orders on the Vodafone.co.uk website. The Samsung Galaxy S8 is going for £47 per month (£30 upfront cost), which includes unlimited texts, unlimited minutes and a massive 24GB of UK data. Right now they have big data boosts in their “Data Extravaganza” – on this package you’d normally get 6GB of data. 24GB is more than enough and you also receive 2GB of inclusive roaming data.

The Samsung Galaxy S8+ will be offered for £52 per month (£50 upfront cost). For this price you’ll get unlimited texts, unlimited minutes, 24GB of UK data (for the price of 6GB) and 2GB of inclusive roaming data.

You’ve got to be a bit quick on this one though as their offers end on 11th April. If you pre-order before Wednesday 19th April, then you’ll also get your device 8 days before launch (meaning that it’ll be in your pocket on Thursday 20th April).

Tesco Mobile will be offering both the Samsung Galaxy S8 and the S8+. Expect to pay £44 per month with Tesco Mobile for the S8. This will get you 1500 minutes, 5000 texts and 3GB of data. Alternatively, for £47.50, customers can get the Samsung Galaxy S8+ with 1500 minutes, 5000 texts and 3GB data.

The MVNO is also offering 20GB of data with 5000 minutes and 5000 texts, so that makes the Samsung Galaxy S8 £54.50 per and the Samsung Galaxy S8+ £58 a month.

If you’re looking to get either phone on O2, you’ll also be able to pre-order today and, yet again, you’ll receive the device 8 days early.
