Those of you who follow us on Twitter can look away now. Indeed, if you’re a regular visitor then you really don’t need to read this story, because this is something we told you about way back in June. Our readers knew all about the OnePlus 3 arriving in O2 stores a full three months ago but now, finally, it’s official.
There was a minor delay along the way, but OnePlus have let everyone know, as have O2 via this announcement. We expect www.o2.co.uk/OnePlus_3 to send you to the handset when it becomes available on Thursday (September 29th).
The photography features on the OnePlus 3 include a superior 16MP sensor with EIS and OIS to ensure you get a sharp and focused photo, every time. With manual mode, RAW image support and HDR capability, you can take more control of your photos than ever before. With a powerful 2.2GHz quad-core processor, 6GB RAM, super-fast UFS 2.0 internal storage and 3,000mAh battery, you’re getting one of the fastest devices out there. And speaking of fast, the fingerprint sensor unlocks in just 0.2s and gets smarter over time, learning about your fingerprint more and more. And speaking of more, see more on the stunning 5.5″ Optic AMOLED display, producing colours more vivid and true-to-life than ever before.
There’s so much more still to talk about, such as Dash Charge (charge to 60% in just 30min), an all-metal premium design & build and Oxygen OS – a system built to give you the perfect balance between power and simplicity.
Meanwhile, OnePlus tell us that this marks a “new chapter” and there’ll be no invites needed.
The OnePlus 3 will be available on a range of O2 Refresh tariffs, starting at £28 per month, with no upfront costs.
Of course, if you’d like to know more, you should definitely head to our OnePlus 3 review, which has up-close photos, specs and everything else you’ll need to know about this handset before you buy.
