You may have seen this one kicking around the internet already. You’ve got to partially question the reason for doing this. Perhaps it’s just a labour of love, perhaps it’s just proving the theory.


Either way, it worked. Windows 95 on an Apple Watch. A 520MHz CPU, 512MB RAM and 8GB of internal storage? That’ll do. It’s far quicker than a 386 processor from the ’90s but, as you’ll see in the massively-sped-up video, it’s in no way usable. From loading to opening an application – it all takes a very long time and it’s remarkably fiddly to use… but, hey.. it’s Microsoft, going mobile.. in a way..
