Now – according to The Telegraph, this unbreakable encryption simply won’t be allowed under new laws. According to the newspaper…

Measures under the Investigatory Powers Bill will place in law a requirement on tech firms and service providers to be able to provide unencrypted communications to the police or spy agencies if requested through a warrant.

In a world fighting terrorists, this seems like a logical move. The security service need to be able to see exactly what is being said. However, it also means that the government can snoop into your message history if there’s reasonable cause.
