On Wednesday 15 July Amazon will celebrate 20 years of existence. The online giant is now so ubiquitous it is actually quite hard to remember a time before it. To celebrate its birthday Amazon is having a special one-day sale for Prime members only. It claims that there will be ‘more deals than Black Friday’. As an incentive, Amazon are currently offering new customers the chance to buy a year’s Prime subscription for £59, a saving of £20. That deal expires on 8th July, so no time to lose. As a reminder, Prime gets you the free next day delivery service, unlimited streaming of Prime content, and access to Kindle lending library each month.
