Screen Protector to give iPhone 6 and 6 Plus a back button

I moved to iOS last December and one of the great things about it, particularly compared to Windows Phone, is the wild and wacky world of accessories that are available.  Nowhere is this more obvious than in the varied world of Kickstarter projects.  A new idea currently making waves comes from a company called ‘Halo Back’.  Anyone, like me, who has moved to iOS from either Android or WP, will still try to reach for the back button, only to discover that there isn’t one.  Help is now at hand.  The solution is a screen protector that includes some clever, invisible wizardry that will create a back button on the lower left hand corner of your phone.  Here is a video that shows it in action:

The screen protector will be available for both iPhone 6 and the 6 Plus, and is provisionally due out in August.  The makers expect it to retail for $49, so about £32 or so.  Many of the cheap early backer options have gone, but the $17 dollar option is still available.  I pledged and you’ll need to budget in an extra $5 postage to the UK, making a grand total of $22 or £14.  Assuming that it’ll actually make it into production I’ll post a review – it has smashed the target goal so fingers crossed.  Just got to make sure I don’t switch phones before then.
