Today Sony announced an edition to its Xperia Z3 range, imaginatively titled the  Xperia Z3+

The newly announced device is both slimmer (6.9mm) and lighter (144g) than the Xperia Z3, and is available in four colour options to meet your individual taste and style. Choose from classic black, white or copper, which is available to Vodafone customers. Ice Green is now exclusively available on Carphone Warehouse.

Not only is it waterproof and dust-tight (IP65/68), the Z3+ also features a capless USB port making it easier and more convenient to charge your phone. In addition, the magnetic charging pin has been removed resulting in a more seamless and minimalist design.

With a shiny finish on the metal frames, tempered glass and rounded edges the Xperia Z3+ is beautiful to look at from any angle and comfortable to hold.

As yet we have no news on pricing or UK availability, but it does appear to be yet another cracking device from Sony.
