MWC – Hands on with the Honor 6 Plus

MWC Hands on with the Honor 6 Plus

The Honor and Huawei branding is a little confusing. The Honor range was “meant” to be their budget range but this the Honor 6 Plus is a gorgeous device, it is similar to the Huawei Ascend G7 in design. But overall this is higher spec’d and built better. I’m rather confused about the two brands of huawei after having a play with it. One thing I do know is that it feels great in the hand and it looks really really nice. The 3600 mAh battery could make it a really long lasting device.

Spec wise the Honor 6 Plus is quite a well spec’d device, with  the following specs:

  • Screen: 5.5″ FHD 1920×1080 JDI Display.
  • Chipset: Kirin 925 Octa-Core 1.8 GHz Processor.
  • Battery: 3600 mAh.
  • Rear Camera: Dual 8 MP.
  • Front Camera: 8MP.
  • Internal Memory: 32GB.
  • RAM: 3 GB.
  • Connections: WiFi a/b/g/n with 5G support and BT 4.0.
  • IR Blaster.
  • Android 4.4.2 with UMUI 3.0.

So here are my hands on pictures with the honor 6 Plus. The white cable doesn’t come with it, it’s just to stop people like me running away with it……
