On January 21st Microsoft took the wraps off Microsoft 10. The phone version of the OS was covered here and aims to integrate the features of the desktop version onto mobile phones. Microsoft did not announce any firm details of when this might happen.
According to a leakster on the NokiaPowerUser site, the preview build might be available in as soon as…2 days’ time. February 4th to be precise. Despite enormous delays in carriers official pushing out OS and firmware updates, Microsoft’s Developer Preview programme (now known as Technical Preview) has been fantastic at offering early releases of builds for free. Of course this might all be a load of tosh, but we’ll find out in only two more sleeps. At the very least it won’t be long to wait: Microsoft has confirmed that the preview will be coming in February…
