The ArcBook, by ARCHOS Unveiled

Archos has revealed what they are calling the “ArcBook”, which is an “Affordable Mobile Productivity Enhancer”. Errr…  in other words an Android powered netbook.

Google™ Certified ArcBook with a 10.1” touchscreen and fully-fledged keyboard designed for students and mobile professionals available in June for under £139.99

Spec’s include..

  • Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
  • Office suite Pro 6, pre-installed, making creating and editing Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PDF files easy.
  • Full access to Google play services.
  • 15 GB of free Google Drive cloud storage.
  • 10.1 inch touchscreen.
  • Full QWERTY keyboard.
  •  Full USB host port.
  • 10 hours of continuous use, battery life.

With the price point quoted I can’t see this being a all singing and dancing device, but it is a very intriguing and one I can’t wait to review and compare it to my HP11 Chromebook.
