LG announce the LTE equipped F70

LG have a few ranges of devices, the premium G range and the cheaper more budget orientated L range and now they’ve announced a new device the strangely named F70.

It comes with all of the software features of the G2

Spec wise it is pretty basic and not too dissimilar to the recently announced G2 Mini

Key Specifications:

–    Processor: 1.2 GHz Quad-Core

–    Display: 4.5-inch WVGA IPS (800 x 480, 207 ppi)

–    Memory: 4 GB / 1 GB RAM / microSD slot (up to 32 GB)

–    Camera: Rear 5.0MP AF / Front VGA (640 x 480)

–    Battery: 2,440mAh (removable)

–    Operating System: Android 4.4 KitKat

–    Size: 127.2 x 66.4 x 10.0mm

Dr. Jong-seok Park, president and CEO of LG had the following to say about the F70.

“Not only does the LG F70 offer the best of LTE technology, its hardware and UX are also best-in-class”

Personally I’m guessing that this range is going to slot in above the L range and below the G range. Although currently there is no mention of price or availability. Hopefully Dan and Leigh will get hands on soon at MWC.
