Xperia Z1f announced in a variety of bold colors
As it’s nearing “that” time of year we’re beginning to see additional handsets appearing and launching around the world. NTT DoCoMo have wedged an additional 16 handsets into their range and one of them is this, the shrunk-down Xperia Z1.

Named the Xperia Z1f, the 5″ Z1 screen is now 4.3″, but the rest of the specs stay pretty similar. It’s powered by a 2.2GHz MSM8974 quad-core Snapdragon 800 CPU and has a 20.7-megapixel “G Lens” camera. We presume that’s something to do with G-Unit or 50 Cent. Who knows.

Other specs include 2GB of RAM, 16GB of built-in storage, Qi wireless charging NFC and 2300mAh battery. It’ll be available in lime, black, white and pink, but don’t expect to see it in Europe or elsewhere just yet. This is Japan only and won’t arrive until December.
