An interesting update popped up this morning for Google Search. The app itself doesn’t look much different and, if you’ve used it yourself, you’ll know that it pretty much does its’ own thing anyway. However, in the new features it states that the app will soon let your family and friends know when you’re leaving work. This would be a neat safety / monitoring solution depending on how you look at it.
The app already gives you helpful time and location-sensitive data, such as how long it’ll take to get to work and what the weather is like etc. New features will be rolling soon and we’ll be keeping an eye on how this particular app progresses.
