Sony Xperia Z1 leaks all over the place
The Sony Xperia Z1 has been a long time coming, we’ve seen many many leaks over the last few months, with a newer, faster, better version of the Xperia Z slated to appear. The Xperia Z1 has been accidentally leaked all over the shop after a press release appeared on XperiaBlog.

So the Xperia Z1 looks to be like the ideal phone, great looking, great specs and seemingly they’ve fixed the problems with the previous generation. But until we actually get to try one out we’ll hold judgement on that. How about you lot? Are Sony currently doing it for you or are you just waiting for the next Nexus phone?

Sony are busy trying to get the image removed but, as it’s all over Google, we’ve got it here below. The Z1, like the Z, is waterproof and has a “G Lens” with a large 1/2.3-type 20.7 megapixel camera.

Yes, 20.7 megapixel. Woah. The rear camera also has an Exmor RS CMOS image sensor and a “BIONZ for mobile” image processing engine. Other features include a Sony Triluminos display and X-Reality mobile.

The handset will arrive globally in September and will be available in black, white and purple. It runs Android 4.2 and weighs in at 170g whilst measuring 144x74x8.5mm. Powered by a 2.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm MSM8974 it has 3D surround sound, Bluetooth 4.0, ClearAudio+, GPS, NFC, 3.5mm audio, DLNA and WiFi. It also comes with 16GB internal storage and a microSD card slot supporting up to 64GB. There’s a 3000mAh battery powering it all and.. oh, that screen is a 5″ 1920×1080 pixel unit.

We’ve stumbled across the full press release text below..
