Google release factory images for the new Nexus 7
It was only the other day when we thought that the entire Nexus program was going to change forever, people resigning, partitions springing up online, people like me considering not buying the new Nexus 7.

But in an interesting twist Google have published the factory images and relevant binaries for the new Nexus. Including parts from Asus, Broadcomm & Qualcomm.

So anyone wanting to restore their new device or create a custom ROM can do as they please. It makes me wonder though, were Google just delaying things on purpose? Did Jean-Baptiste Quéru really not know that the images were only matter of days away?
