Are you an Apple developer? After the 8 day outage Apple have suffered caused by a security flaw with the Developer Portal, it seems there may now be a backlog of Apps ready for review. This is not surprising after reading an email that went out the registered developers advising that they have had to rebuild their systems to best prevent any future security risks. Apple have sent letters to a number of Developers, one in particular let ReadWrite know.
“We are currently reviewing an app that you submitted for inclusion on the App Store, and want to let you know that the review process will require additional time. We apologize for the delay and will provide you with an update on the status of your app as soon as possible.”
What does this mean for you? Well, that game your waiting for additional levels to be added or a bug that’s annoying you in that app maybe there till Apple pull their finger out and catch up.
