There has been an unannounced race going on. The race has been between Britain having a hot sunny day in 2013 and HTC actually making their flagship One handset available for purchase.
Well it looks like the race has been won and HTC are the proud victors. Whilst the snowbound UK is still waiting forlornly for that hot sunny day, HTC have announced that the One will be rolled out in the UK, Germany and Taiwan next week and across the rest of Europe, North America and the rest of the Asia Pacific region before the end of April.
The good news for HTC is that the handset will be available before the much vaunted Samsung Galaxy S4 although whether it can take on the Samsung behemoth remains to be seen.
