Anyone with a Huawei G300 on Vodafone (and at the price it is selling for I would expect there are LOTS), a new software version is due to be rolled out over the air next week which will address a few issues found in the existing version.
Costing just £100 on PAYG this is an ideal Christmas present. The new ICS update makes it even better value for money, so get a real bargain of a smartphone here with thousands of apps at your fingertips.
Over on EuroDroid they have a quote from Vodafone about this stating…
I’m pleased to say that Huawei will begin rolling out the new G300 software (B952), that will address the broken dictionary issue, from Wednesday 28th November. We’ve tested the other problems you’ve reported and haven’t been able to reproduce them in this new software.
