If you own an Apple TV then when you switch it on today you will notice a new icon has appeared entitled “Apple Special Event” which will allow you to watch todays Apple event live. It is unknown at this time whether Apple intents on making a live stream available to other Apple products as they have done in the past, most notably with the 2010 iPod event.
Hopefully this also means that we will get some Apple TV related news. Possibly something new with iTunes media or perhaps even an Apple TV SDK? We’ll be covering the event and we’ll be sure to tell you all about everything thats announced.
UPDATE: Apple now has a page up that states the event will also be streamed on their website too.
