Ealier on in the week (details here) we got to see the new UK phone from Motorola, the RAZR i. We got to see lots of information about it, the specs, some pictures and then some videos as well. On the day there wasn’t really any mention of pricing from the networks. This morning Motorola have sent us details of the initial networks and outlets that will stock the RAZR i on a contract basis.
Here is the initial information from Motorola regarding prices:
VIRGIN MEDIA: Available in all channels (retail, telesales and online) starting at £23 per month. http://www.virginmedia.com/
· TESCO: The handset will be available on selected networks and tariffs at http://www.tescophoneshop.com/ and in Tesco Phone Shops nationwide.
· T-MOBILE: Free from £31 per month on a 24 month plan. Please see www.t-mobile.co.uk/shop for more information.
· ORANGE: Free from £31 per month on a 24 month plan. Please see www.orange.co.uk/shop for more information.
· PHONES 4 U: Please contact the carrier directly for tariff information. Consumers can also pre-register here: http://www.phones4u.co.uk/motorola/razr-i
Further partners will be announced in due course.
In recent times Motorola have gone with T-Mobile initially with their new devices so this isn’t too much of a shock. Let’s just see quite how good it is with it’s Intel CPU.
Our initial impressions post should be coming soon.
