Lots has been said about HTC recently, most of it in a “oh poor HTC” kind of way. What hasn’t been said in a while is “look at these leaked images of a new HTC device”. Well today is going to be one of those days.
The Verge have got hold of an image of the rumoured successor to the HTC One V which at the moment is codenamed the HTC Proto,
The phone looks very much in keeping with the One range style. Rumoured specs for the device are higher spec than the One V.
- 9.62mm thick
- 4-inch WVGA SLCD display
- 5-megapixel camera
- 4GB of storage
- 512MB of RAM
- 7.2Mbps HSPA
- Dual-core Qualcomm MSM8225 clocked at 1GHz
- Beats Audio branding
So this could be the start of HTC only offering decent devices at decent prices. Who knows, maybe they will announce something at IFA in Berlin in September.
