I am a great fan of the Nexus range and it is getting round to that time of year where we start to think about what Google have planned.
SamMobile have uncovered some details of an as yet unannounced device the i9260 which has some intriguing specs.
Here are the details of the i9260:
In previous years the Samsung Nexus models were of a similar spec to the current flagship devices. The Nexus S was similar to the Galaxy S and the Galaxy Nexus was similar to the Galaxy SII. This new Nexus would be of a lower spec to the Galaxy SIII. Which seems a little odd.
One thing that could be going on is those rumours about several different manufacturers releasing Nexus models. Samsung may just be filling the mid range Nexus gap with other making the high end model. Who knows, only time will tell.
Another intriguing point is the mention of an SD Card slot as well. Previous Nexus models have stayed away from memory card slots, maybe this time is different.
