Google add voice search to their iOS search app

In much the same way that a few lucky Android Jelly Bean users have been using Google Now, Google will soon be updating the search app for iOS.

Introducing Voice Search

on your mobile device

In the latest version of the Google Search App for iOS and Android, not only can you say your question out loud, but your search app can speak your answer right back to you. And, using Google’s Knowledge Graph, your search app gives you smarter answers loud and clear.

Google have also added a nice video showing how the app works. Judging by the comments on the video over at YouTube quite a few users are a little annoyed that this new Voice Search is going to be available on iOS and yet you can’t install it on Ice Cream Sandwich without having root and hacking your device about a bit. I do look at my Galaxy Note and think that search would be so much easier with Google Now.
