What? The very latest version of Android for a phone that came out two years ago? Surely not. Well actually, yes. The Galaxy S, aka the Samsung I9000, has now received a Jelly Bean port via forum member “mkalter”.
This doesn’t seem to be one of those “nothing works properly” ROMs either, because Version 6 of this ROM now seems to have pretty much everything. The only feature not fully firing is the tethering, but everything else is spot on.
As usual, if you choose to upgrade then you take your warranty / insurance etc into your own hands.
