Sony Ericsson Xperia Play – ICS beta released

Another day, another ICS Rom released. This time it is for the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play.

The Xperia Play (or Zeus), has been out for about a year now, so it is nice to see Sony are still supporting the handset with the latest flavour of Android (Ice Cream Sandwich)

As this update is for ‘advanced developers’, installation should only be attempted if you know what you are doing.

It can only be applied to unlocked handsets, and installing the update will lose some features; GMail, Google Maps and Face unlock are missing..not to mention WiFi is broken too.

If you are still keen to see what all the fuss is about, follow this link for the source, and download links.
