There appears to be a bug affecting GMail on Android handsets this morning. It seems to be affecting several different manufacturers, so the problem is most likely at Google’s end.
It’s quite an odd bug, as it appears to only affect certain accounts, even on the same handset, and turns the handset into a strobe light.
Google say they are working fast on a fix though.
