Tango to be called Windows Phone 7.5 Refresh

So, someone somewhere apparently decided to brand Windows Phone “Tango” as “Windows Phone 7.5 Refresh”. The details have come out during an interview with that WindowsPhoneItaly conducted with Stefania Duico from Microsoft Italy.

Now, turn the clock back to 2010 when “Windows Phone 7 Series” was launched. Shortly after the word “Series” got dropped as it was a little too long, so we’re hoping that the word “Refresh” doesn’t stick too much. To be honest the naming convention is mad.. you may as well call it “Ice Cream Sandwich” or something..

We understand that “Refresh” will just be an internal name though, and it’ll still be called 7.5 in stores.
