MWC – Xperia S – Up close

The Xperia S has the largest screen in the NXT range at 4.3″ (720×1280) and is seen here running Android 2.3, although ICS will be along shortly via an upgrade. It’s got a powerful 1.5GHz dual-core CPU, NFC and a 12 megapixel camera around the back plus another 1.3 megapixel shooter up-front. The Exmor R camera sensor helps with low-light shots too, plus it has a number of clever camera features including face and smile detection.

DLNA, GPS, WiFi, HDMI and NFC also feature here, but you can click on to get the full specs below. All of the new Sony NXT phones showing here are micro SIM and have no microSD expansion. This is a growing trend and one we’ve seen with the HTC One Series.

Don’t forget that Dan has already posted loads of photos and the first unboxing if you want to see more.
