So, the Galaxy Beam. Is it any good? Well, we took a tour around the Samsung stand this morning and tried it out. It’s being shown off in a dark room, and I made the unfortunate mistake of asking “do things work better in the dark?” Apparently it will work in daylight too, although here we’re seeing it with the curtains firmly drawn.
The focus is performed by using the volume control and, from what we saw, it worked pretty well. I doubt it’ll replace your LED TV anytime soon, but to get a big screen quickly, it’s not half bad.
