There’s a fair amount of excitement surrounding the Galaxy SIII. The existing SII had already performed brilliantly sales-wise and its still my main phone.
So, news so far. We thought it would appear at Mobile World Congress. Good times. Then we were told it wasn’t arriving at Mobile World Congress. Bad times. Now there’s a bit more info, and word has it that an event will take place on March 22nd to launch the phone. That’s a mere two-and-a-bit weeks after Mobile World Congress, which is a little weird, but hey..
In other news, etnews says that the phone will be just 7 mm thick. That will make it a full 1.5mm thinner than the SII. Rumoured details include a 12 megapixel camera, 2 megapixel face pointing camera and a 1.8 GHz dual-core CPU. Oh, and let’s not forget that 4.6-inch 720p Super AMOLED Plus display.
Want this now.
