Samsung reveal Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade plans

Well, it’s all good news, provided you’re not a Galaxy S owner. The plans for the Android 4.0 roll out have been detailed here.

It looks like the Samsung Galaxy S isn’t on the initial batch of devices which are being scheduled for the update..

The ICS-upgradable devices are the GALAXY S II, GALAXY S II LTE, GALAXY Note, GALAXY R, GALAXY Tab 10.1, GALAXY Tab 8.9, GALAXY Tab 7.7, and GALAXY Tab 7.0 Plus.

The devices above should be getting their Android 4.0 updates in Q1, although there’s bound to be a slight delay if you have a network-branded device.
