We recently heard about the new Xoom 2 and Xoom 2 Media Edition tablets from Motorola. Both are expected on November 28th and come with Android Honeycomb on board. The specs read as follows, although we can’t find any mention of GPS we presume it’s there..
– 5 Megapixel HD rear cam (zoom / auto-focus / LED flash), 1.3 Megapixel front cam
– WiFi / Bluetooth 2.1 / 3.5mm audio jack
– 10.1″ HD display (Xoom 2) or 8.2″ HD display (Xoom 2 Media Edition) with Corning Gorilla Glass and splash-guard
– 1.2GHz dual-core CPU
– 16GB internal storage / 1GB RAM
Those lovely people at The Smartphone Centre have stepped forward to price up the Xoom 2 for £385.95 and the Media Edition at £349.95. Those are iPad 2 prices, so we’ll see how this goes when the tablets become available at the end of this month.
