Motorola Fire due to arrive next month

Motorola are planning to roll out their Fire handset here in the UK next month. Looking like a slightly cheaper version of the Pro, this has a full QWERTY keyboard, 2.8″ screen and is powered by Android 2.3.

Targetting the “youth” market this has a 3 megapixel camera, microSD expansion, FM radio, WiFi, 3.5mm audio, aGPS and a raft of sensors. The device also promises “Bets in class battery life” and has a special “Moto Switch” function to flicking into a friends-centric mode when you’ve finished work.

No news just yet on how much the new Google-owned company will be charging, but it should arriving in shops in a matter of weeks. Get an overview of the handset in the video below..
