Sony Ericsson pro – Up close

Sony Ericsson pro Up closeThe Xperia pro packs all the extra camera tweaks that the PLAY and the neo have but also has a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. Sony Ericsson have added a feature which will let you begin typing onto the screen the second you pull out the keyboard. After you’ve typed you can then decide whether to Tweet, email or whatever. Other features, which are shown in the video below, have been added to make responding to email easier and simpler. It again has the BRAVIA display engine and a bright, clear display but isn’t just a re-hashed Xperia PLAY with a keyboard – this has been built by a totally different team and has many of the features found on the neo – an 854×480 pixel 3.7″ screen, fluid album art, pictures and videos, TrackID music recognition, aGPS, FM radio, 3.5mm audio jack, DLNA, HDMI, WiFi and the same 1GHz CPU.

Powered by Android 2.3 this felt good in the hand and was easy to type on and use. There really wasn’t much bulk to it at all. An 8GB microSD is also provided with the neo and the pro but, as is usual, we think you’d perhaps like to see it in action..
