Samsung fly SD cards in, from space

Samsung fly SD cards in, from spaceIf you’ve found a paper plane with a Samsung logo on it, pick it up and have a closer look. On board should be an SD card and the projectspaceplanes.com web address. If you stick the Samsung memory card into your computer you’ll see lots of lovely messages from people. But why? What’s it all about?

The rather nutty guys from rathergood.com and Samsung have got together to launch a load of paper planes from the edge of space. They strapped them to a weather balloon and then took them up to 37,000 metres (121,391 feet) before releasing them all. Planes have so far been found in Germany, America, Canada and South Africa.

This is brilliant. Check out the full video
