T-Mobile respond to HTC Desire update concerns

T Mobile respond to HTC Desire update concerns T-Mobile rolled out their HTC Desire update a few days back but many UK owners seemed to receive extra German software. It was “tweaked” a day later and now T-Mobile have offered up this response to affected customers..

“We wanted to give you an update on the recently released Android 2.2 software for the HTC Desire and a few issues that have been raised.

We’re aware that the update has added a few apps which aren’t compatible and can’t be uninstalled – we are working on a maintenance patch to resolve this and will be rolling this out in due course.”

There seems to be some concern around decreased battery life and app compatibility after the update. T-Mobile are suggesting that you contact the developer if you’re having trouble running apps after the update.
