LG Optimus now available on Orange

LG Optimus now available on Orange The LG Optimus is a mid-range Android handset in brushed aluminium with a 3″ 320×480 resistive screen, 600Mhz CPU, GPS, 3.15 megapixel camera, 3G / HSDPA, WiFi, Bluetooth, microSD expansion, 3.5mm audio and FM Radio. We heard about it back in April when it was called the GT540 and Dan spotted it last month as coming soon to Orange. Now it’s fully available on the Orange network for absolutely nothing on certain plans.

This runs a standard version of Google Android 1.6 and we’ve yet to actually see one in the flesh, so if you’ve bought one of these, please let us know what you think of it.
