In the US a cool service called Sirius XM exists. I tried it out in Florida in a hire car and it was pretty weird listening to BBC Radio 1 whilst cruising around Disney World. A stereo in your car picks up the signals from the Sirius XM satellite and lets you listen to a huge range of audio channels.
An Android app will soon be available to enable Sirius XM subscribers to listen to their favourite stations across a normal data connection too. Click to be notified when the app is available, then you’ll receive a link to download it and start a free 7 day trial if you’re not a subscriber.
