Google Maps Navigation – Now for the UK too

Google Maps Navigation Now for the UK too Google Maps appears to have been updated this morning and now, here in an ash-covered Britain, version 4.1.1 should give us the fully-functional Google Maps Navigation.

Some users are having to reboot and this is a beta but it does appear that the UK can now also get the totally free sat-nav experience through Google Maps. It’s confirmed on Android 1.6 and above – we’re waiting to see if Hero users (and anyone else stuck on Android 1.5) have got the same magic.

Do let us know if you’ve got it and on what handset!
