Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 in the house!

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 in the house! Lookie what’s just turned up at coolsmartphone towers. It’s the white Sony Ericsson Xperia X10. This particular shade is exclusive to Orange and a very nice looking handset, if a little wider than we remembered.

We’re just getting to grips with the Sony Ericsson Timescape / Mediascape stuff at the minute but we’ll have videos online shortly and a full review later on this week. The lack of multi-touch on this is a little painful, especially when you’ve come from other Android kit that has it.

The X10 is powered by Android 1.6 and has an 8.1 megapixel camera round the back with a flash, face recognition, auto-focus, image stabiliser and smile detection. It also has a 480×854 WVGA screen, tri-band 3G / HSPA, quad-band GSM / EDGE, WiFi, aGPS, Bluetooth and a 3.5 mm audio port. They’ve also chucked in an 8GB microSD for good measure.

We’ve just snapped a photo with the camera to give you an idea on the quality. Click here to have a look. Thanks to Orange for loaning this to us. It’s available in the Orange shop. If you already have the X10, do let us know what you think or, if you’ve got questions, fire away.
