Look what just arrived – the HTC Touch2. It comes equipped with Windows Mobile 6.5 and has a 3.2 megapixel camera, 2.8″ QVGA screen, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack and microSD expansion.
A review will be online in a few days and we’ll have an unboxing video up tomorrow. The first thing I wanted to check out was the OS. Why? Well, this is as close to “the official Windows Mobile 6.5” as we’re going to get before October 6th (launch day), so although it’s “Test only, not for sale”, I dived into “Marketplace” to grab some apps. This instantly opened an Opera window and took me to https://client.marketplace.windowsmobile.com where I got this coming soon screen. Hmm.. will Marketplace merely be a web page or will an app download when it goes live? We’ll wait and see.
