Samsung Apps store – doors now open

Samsung Apps store doors now open The Samsung Application Store is now open for business. Available for the Omnia i900 the interface is well thought-out with categories, descriptions and screenshots. There’s a search function, “top apps” tab and direct installation via CAB files to your handset.

Our man Johnny De’Silva has been testing it out and tells us that it does seem to lack some software we take for granted like Coreplayer, Kinoma and Opera. However, Skyfire is on the store – as it Prince of Persia, Guitar Hero World Tour and more. You can download the store from wap.uk.samsungmobile.com or the link below.

We’d be interested to see if this works with other Windows Mobile phones. If it doesn’t then we’re counting the minutes until someone at xda-devs “makes it” work 🙂
