The all-new Windows Marketplace will launch on October 6th for those lucky enough to own a new WinMo 6.5 handset. Information about what exactly will be in the Marketplace is (sort-of) coming to light via this facebook.com post from the Windows Mobile group. It seems that “five new themes” from “some of today’s top designers” will be available within the store, which should also be coming to the rest of us WinMo 6.1-users soon enough.
Call us pessimistic, but we’re hoping that there’ll be a lot more than just 5 backdrops in the store when it goes live in just a few weeks time.
