Are you a T-Mobile customer? Are you going to the USA or Canada soon? Well, watch out. T-Mobile have just increased their roaming charges and, in some cases, it’s quite a big increase. Switzerland, for example, has increased from 55p per minute to £1 per minute when making or receiving a call. Making or receiving a call in America, Canada, Australia or New Zealand will now cost £1.20 per minute – up from 50p in some cases.
The cost of using your T-Mobile in other countries has increased too, so be sure to check this page before travelling. T-Mobile are blaming the fees charged by foreign mobile networks and the weakening pound for the rises, which affect contract and pay as you go customers.
