Palm Treo 800w goes live on Sprint USA

Palm Treo 800w goes live on Sprint USA The guys over at engadget have managed to get themselves a shiny new Palm Treo 800w. The device runs Windows Mobile 6.1 on a Qualcomm MSM6800A CPU with WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth 2.0, microSD card slot and 256Mb user memory plus 128Mb program memory.

Sprint are picking this one up in the US and we’re hoping it’ll be a big improvement on the Treo 500 we reviewed a short while back – especially as the Treo 750v impressed us so much.

This QWERTY messaging-style phone is CDMA and is currently available in the USA only. Head on over to engadgetmobile.com for more info.
