UK Network Three to carry HTC TyTN II

UK Network Three to carry HTC TyTN II It’s been quite some time since UK 3G network “Three” carried a Windows Mobile phone. The QTek 9000 was their last dip into this territory, although most of their network services and features are geared towards non-Windows phones. However, it looks like Three customers will soon be able to get the new HTC TyTN II for a mere £30 on selected plans.

The HTC TyTN II, which we reviewed some time back, has pretty much everything on-board. GPS, Bluetooth 2.0, WiFi, 3 megapixel aut-focus camera, speedy 400Mhz CPU, Windows Mobile 6 and that 3G / HSDPA / HSUPA connectivity for ultra-fast browsing.

Three was the UK’s first video mobile network and undertook one of the fastest network rollouts in UK history when they setup. Now their coverage has been expanded even further following an agreement to combine their 3G network with T-Mobile. The TyTN II isn’t currently showing on their website, but our man has grabbed a scan from the in-store catalogue below.
