3GSM: Toshiba Portégé G900 Announced

3GSM: Toshiba Portégé G900 Announced The second of Toshiba’s recently announced phones is the Portégé G900. It has a classic Pocket PC-style form factor with a full QWERTY slider similar to devices from HTC. This handset, unlike the G500, gets the full Windows Mobile 6 treatment and should be one of the first on the market sporting the new OS.

The Portégé G900 also has a fingerprint sensor and connectivity-wise has triband, HSDPA, 3G, EDGE, Bluetooth and WiFi. The G900 also sports a W-VGA (854×480!) display and allows read/write access to a USB flash memory device. Like the G500 it also has two cameras – a two megapixel at the rear and a face-pointing camera for video calls. VoIP support and a miniSD slot also feature.

The Toshiba Portégé G900 is expected to arrive this summer.
