Xbox Live on a Smartphone

Xbox Live on a Smartphone Jason at Smartphonethoughts.com is currently in Thailand for one of the Mobius conferences happening over the next week. The conference is a chance for webmasters of influential websites to exchange ideas, suggestions and to get a heads-up on the new developments from Microsoft. He’s got a great article here which shows the new “Live Anywhere” system on a Smartphone. Actually I had an email from Coolsmartphone reader Lee Tennant about this earlier in the week however it’s great to now see it running for real. In the article Jason states..

“It looks excellent, and while fairly simple in functionality, I can definitely see a use for it. In essence, it’s a simple way for you to add friends to your Xbox Live account using your Windows Mobile device. I for one would use this, because my current method of adding people to my Xbox Live account is to print out a list of gamer tags and walk up to my Xbox to add them.”

Unfortunately there’s still no concrete release date for this app.
