HTC Announce four new handsets

HTC Announce four new handsets HTC have just announced a stack of handsets in this press release. Although they’re “new” regular Coolsmartphone visitors will be pretty familiar with these already. They’ve announced four new handsets and they’ve all got new HTC names too.

First up is the HTC S620, previously seen as the HTC Excalibur. It’s a slim QWERTY messaging handset and that “slider strip” on the side has now got a name – the “HTC’s JOGGR™”. The “JOGGR” is a touch sensitive navigation bar and gives easy and speedy access to various parts of the phone.

Next is the HTC P3300 – known to us previously as the HTC Artemis – it’s going to come equipped with the new TomTom Navigator 6 software and in-built GPS for easy sat-nav. The trackball / trackwheel navigation system is now known as the “HTC RollRTM” and should prove useful for navigating around both the device and the TomTom maps.

The third announcement is the HTC P3600 (HTC Trinity). It’s got an iPod-esque white or black finish to it with 3G capability and 2 megapixel camera built in. The media capabilities of this handset are bound to be promoted and it’ll be around sometime this month.

Last but by no means least is the HTC S310 – aka the HTC Oxygen or SPV C100. It’s a small yet powerful and affordable candy bar-style handset running Windows Mobile 5.0 for Smartphone. It’ll be out sometime this month according to HTC.
