Blimey, it’s handset day today! o2 have announced the release of the O2 Xphone II in Singapore today, stirring rumours that they may add or replace the MPx220 handset from Motorola in the UK. The Motorola MPx220 hasn’t been released on o2 in the UK yet, but they did mention it earlier.
This new HTC device, to sell in Asia to begin with, may – we’re hoping – come to the UK and other o2 territories. At present it’s a watch-and-wait game though.
